Billing and plans

Manage your subscription, upgrade, or update payment details.

Billing and plans

Billing lives in Settings → Billing. You can change plans, update payment details, download invoices, and cancel from there.

Choosing a plan

Plans are listed on the pricing page. Each plan includes:

  • A seat count: how many teammates can be on the account.
  • A search/report allowance: how many reports you can open in a billing period.
  • Access to premium features (for example, Secure Send) on higher tiers.

Upgrading or downgrading

In Settings → Billing, click Change plan. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period so you don't lose what you've paid for.

Payment method and invoices

Click Manage billing to open the Stripe customer portal. You can update your card, change the billing email, and download invoices from there. The portal is the source of truth for receipts.

Cancelling

Cancel anytime from the Stripe customer portal. Your access stays active until the end of the current billing period, then the account moves to a read-only state. You can reactivate by subscribing again.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, we'll email you and retry the charge a few times. You'll see a banner in-app prompting you to update your card. Accounts that stay unpaid for too long lose access until billing is restored.
